Steaks and Cakes: the Swedish Viking is Feeling the Love

It’s been quite the summer for Oskar Andersson, aka The Big O, aka the Swedish Viking.

Oskar gained momentum from the DreamChasers Tour in June where he received multiple FBS scholarship offers.  Following on in the U19 Euro Championship he lead the Swedish National Team to a championship in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Swedish team has now qualified for the World Cup next summer.

Unfortunately for Sweden, Oskar won’t be able to attend those games with his fellow Swedes as he will be in the midst of his college career. Tonight he decided to surprise everyone by announcing his commitment.

This evening Oskar said via Facebook that he was officially committing to Temple Owls in the summer of 2018.

When asked why Temple he simply stated, “I just fell in love with the place.”

Oskar’s commitment tonight strengthens PPI’s ties to the city of brotherly love where PPI founder, Brandon Collier, played with the Eagles during his time in the NFL.

Oskar, having never had the cheese steak sandwiches made famous there, will surely enjoy getting to know the city’s preferred snack while serving up some pancakes for dessert on Saturdays for years to come.

Oskar also had offers from Old Dominion and Liberty.
